PARTICIPATION IN CHRIS TUCKER FOUNDATION ANNUAL CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT - 2025

The D. Terrence Foster Foundation Inc. and its board are delighted to express our gratitude to The Chris Tucker Foundation ( https://www.christuckerfoundation.org/ ) and its executive body. The foundation is one of our major sponsors.

Chris Tucker is a major A-list movie star/comedian, a global philanthropist, and a humanitarian. His foundation is run primarily by his mom, Ms. Tucker, and his sister Tammye..

Our foundation was happy to show our support and participated in the Chris Tucker Foundation's annual golf tournament on August 25, 2025. This competition was a high-level golf event featuring some of the best non-professional and celebrity amateur players from the local area and across the country. Our team (Fitzroy Davids, Raymond Brooks, Al Givance, & I), although our team did not win, we still performed well and had a lot of fun. 

Al Givance won Closest to the Pin. Let us congratulate him on his remarkable accomplishment. Tim Reid (an American comedian, actor, and film director) was our celebrity player – he was fantastic! We also met internationally acclaimed American singer-songwriter, musician, and lyricist Jeffrey Osborne, Buddy Lewis (American comedian, actor, writer and voice over artist,. among many other notable figures.  

Also present at the function was Mayor Anthony Ford, who along with District 5 Councilman Elton Alexander. welcomed the event with an Official City Proclamation.
