The Henry County Schools – McKinney-Vento Program (Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program) in Georgia was established under the Mckinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act of 1997, a federal law passed in 1987. The law is intended, in part, to guarantee educational rights and support for students and youths experiencing homelessness, allowing immediate enrollment, attendance, and success in schools even if they lack documentation.
“D Terrence Foster Foundation Inc. We are beyond thankful for this amazing donation! Your generosity is helping us create opportunities, strengthen our efforts, and make a real difference for students experiencing homelessness. Because of you, these students will have added support, resources, and encouragement to keep moving forward. Thank you for believing in our mission and investing in our community! “
Thank you for your visit, LaChandra Stodghill (Henry County Schools – McKinney-Vento Program). You are most welcome. We will continue to help in whatever ways we can with the effort of our board members, supporters, and friends, whose contributions make what we do possible.
